The lucid style and vivid manner of presentation of R.K.Narayan, the author about the night scene over the places in Malgudi, Sarayu River and the railway line is very much thrilling, heart-touching and frightening experiences of the small boy that one cannot put down the book and stop reading until the end of the story towards which, I invite the readers to easy flow of happenings appear in this descriptive writing of the story ‘Swami and Friends’.
